2 Awesome LDs. Because I saw a good show just before sleep?

Last night I had a couple of really good clear-as-ever LDs just after watching Prison Break episode 5 of season 2. I thought it was the best episode of ANY show that I had ever seen. Could this have filled my head with good thoughts or thoughts about action?

Here’s what happened in the dream.

Being an Australian Air Force Cadet, I’m an aircraft nerd. I flew an F18 over public houses(in the dream) and landed it on a public highway at a red light! Very random, I know. :cool_laugh: The plane was slowing down but I wasn’t sure if I would stop in time to not hit the truck in front of me. So I sped back up quickly and took off, going back down to avoid the powerlines, then up up up and away.

In an ND, my dad took me for a ride in an F35 JSF, which is a one seater(but it had two in my dream). He promised not to crash, then he crashed and I flew out of the cockpit insanely fast and started falling back down again. I just kept thinking before I hit the ground “I AM INVINCIBLE!!!”, then I survived the collision with the ground and felt no pain(I usually wake up).

It seems that in a dream, in my opinion, whatever you think will happen, will happen. I was able to fly without falling down(not in a plane) for much longer than I usually do when I used this theory. Try it!

Could the show I watched previously have influenced me to have those dreams? It’s where eight prisoners(some enemies, some friends) are all on the run from the cops and are also looking for a $5million stash in one spot.

if i were to guesstimate this one right off the bat, i would call placebo. probably, you have the general oppinion that when you are influenced to being in a good mood before bed, you believe you have a higher chance of success with LDs. therefore, your mind actually goes on to work based on this, and through placebo, your idea becomes reality.

as for the other point, about the stuff you think will happen actually happening in a dream, i would say that this is pretty much how it always is. what you are convinced will happen in a dream is pretty much always what happens. which is why people are making various techniques to aid them in influencing their mind so that what they want to happen, does happen.

do note though, that this is just a quick couple thoughts tossed out from a very tired mind, and that the amount of thought put into this isnt very high(which is to be expected when you can hardly keep your eyes open).

Ah good call. Thx

Ima say placebo too, but a lot of LD induction is about placebo . And i agree with Kimius about the rest. Expectation counts when you’re dreaming.
