A few questions for the pros....

Hey, this is a subject that’s held a LOT of interest for me for a LONG time (although I never really had a name for it until I started researching it). I was just wondering a few things, thinking maybe some of the old pros could give me some tips.

  1. What are some good devices to help you remember your dreams? I’ve given good thought to keeping a dream journal, I think I may start tonight.

  2. What kind of effect does marijuana have on LDs? Does it make lucidty easier or harder? Does it make dreams harder to remember?

  3. There’s a dream I really want to have, and that’s getting up on stage. I’m an amatuer hip-hop/horrorcore rap artist (betcha don’t see many of those around here) and I’d really like to experience getting on stage during a big show. Any tips?

I hope I didn’t just ask a bunch of questions that have already been answered, and if I did, I apologize.

  1. A dream journal is a great thing to keep, it helps improve your dream recall and can help you reconize more eaisily that it’s a dream.

  2. Unfortunatly the sweet sweet cheeba is horrible for LD’s it basically kills your dream recall and makes LDing very hard.

  3. A lot of people use LD’s to get over stage fright or to practice for a performance, it helps out a lot of people. I would suggest something like saying to yourself over and over again that your gonna have a dream that your up on stage performing and you might recognize it’s a dream and even if you don’t it could still help. If you become lucid in the middle of a unrelated dream tell yourself that when you walk around a corner or turn around that there will be a club or something behind, then turn around walk in the club and wallah!
