A few questions. (limited interaction in LDs)

moved from pathways and (limited interaction in LDs) added to title :moogle:

Right I have a few questions about LD’s I have had 2 so far but both have lasted about 5 seconds and I have been able to do very little , its been a case of DILD and as soon as I think “I’m dreaming” I get a sort of buzz in my head (feeling not sound) and then everything fades and I can picture things like for example I pictured a drawing of a church and I could see that inside my head but thats all I could do before waking up.

Question 1. Do you have any tips for me as to what to try when this happens to keep it going for longer. note I cannot rub my hands together or touch anything or spin , see question 2.

Question 2. I have never really been able to move , look around or touch anything in my ld’s all I seem to be able to do is imagine things and have them appear which tends to be very pencil like images on a white background. Any thoughts on this?

Question 3. I don’t dream very often at night both times I have had lucid dreams it has been when I have gone to bed a while after waking up mabye about 11am to mid-day. Is there anyway to increase the likelyhood of dreaming as I have only been able to enter a lucid state through DILD.

Any help on these topics would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rapouc

You always dream, everynight, every sleep cycle. You are just not remembering them. I think the reason your two lucid dreams where poor is because they were just not very vivid dreams to begin with. They sound sort of like they happened in that state where you’re night quite asleep, but sort of. It’s hard to explain, but it doesn’t sound like the were dreams takinb place in REM sleep by the way you describe them.

ok thank-you but what should I do? and also my dreams are never very vivid.

You should simply keep trying. If you want ot remember more dreams there are several things you could do. The most important thing is to pay attention to your dreams and look forward to remembering them as you go to sleep. A dream journal I’m sure you know is an efficient way to accomplish this. To make dreams more vivid you can meditate and visualise wich can have some results.
If you can’t move in LDs or do any sort of prolonging technique, there’s not much you can do. Just know that not all LDs will be like that and you should keep trying to do those things, eventually you will be in a dream in wich you can move.

The only suggestion I have for #1 is try not to get too excited. It can make you wake up right away (not good). It happens to me all the time. Other than that, read our suggestions and just keep trying. Perhaps it’ll get better over time.
