A friend of mine had this dream...

I’d like to know what it means. I’m not good at deciphering things like dreams. This is from her POV.

4 people, me (Charish), Ronnie, Barrett, and Robbie were sitting around a campfire at camp. I was sitting adjacent to Ronnie, who was sitting across from Robbie. Barrett was across from me. The logs we were sitting on were all separate at the corners except the one between me and Ronnie. Robbie and Barrett were sitting in the middle of their logs, arguing. Me and Ronnie were in the corner of our logs, sitting next to each other. So, as Barrett and Robbie keep arguing, the flames from the fire spread out and engulfed us. Well, I don’t know if it got Robbie or Barrett, but me and Ronnie were in the flames. They didn’t burn, they felt like when your foot falls asleep.

Is she in the dream? Is Ronnie her?
Is Robbie a girl? Was that a double date in the dream?

Does she often talk to you about dreams? What was the context and emotion when she told you the dream? Did she tell you why this dream is particularly important?

Jumping into conclusions:

#1: It doesn’t matter what the dream is about. She likes you. /joy

#2: It doesn’t matter what the dream is about. You were talking to her about dreams and was trying to show interest. She made a casual comment: “Oh, I dreamed about you too, I wonder what that dream meant…” /joy

How concerned was she? What had you already tell her about the dream? What was her first reactions to your comments or when you told her that you will find out what the dream meant?

Okay, the dream part was from her point of view.

Ronnie=me, I’m a guy
Charish=her, the one who dreamed this, yes she was in it.
Robbie= a guy
Barrett= a guy

No, she normally has nightmares, so I don’t believe I’m in many of her dreams. The emotion…it was over the phone and late at night, so it was hard to tell…no, she didn’t say much about the importance.

Little Red Riding Hood’s Romantic Inference: /shy

Interpretations:

Charish used to have nightmares. She usually does not see you in her dreams. This night, she found herself in a dream, in a nice camp before a nice campfire. However, an argument broke out. The fire was glowing big and started to burn near Charish, and Ronnie. Somehow, the fire did not hurt, and she did not feel scared. She knew that you were besides her in the dream. Late at night, she realized that she had just had a dream which was not a nightmare. She thought that maybe it was no longer a nightmare because you were there.

She called you, but didn’t really know what to say. She thought: “What am I doing? Why am I calling him in the middle of the night? I am so foolish to be calling him about this… but that was what I wanted to do.”

The argument can symbolize anything unpleasant in her life. It doesn’t matter what it is. The importance is that her subconscious had accepted you as the person that she can talk to.

The key ideas are:

 • the chain of nightmare has been broken
 • You are associated with the concept “doesn’t hurt”, so you are someone safe to be with

Since when has she started sharing her nightmares with you?
What is her perspective on the nightmares?
Is it normal for girls to call you late at night?
What are the relationships between the four people in real life?

Rofl, nice Red. :razz:

I’m guessing it was one of those dreams that leaves an impression on you? Those are always the symbolicy ones… my guess would be that a fight will be broken out, but it won’t mean the end of things, since the fire didn’t hurt. That’s only my view on it though, Estok probably has a lot more info and stuff than me. :content:

Im frantically pushing [2] and nothing is happening!!

Maybe that’s because I’m pressing [1] on this end. :razz:
