I tend to fall asleep too quickly when I WILD, so I was thinking I should try WBTB to wake my mind up a bit more beforehand.
The problem is that my body wakes up super-quickly, all I can manage is getting up to go to the toilet, then back. Anything more and I’m fully charged and ready to run a marathon. If I try WILD after this, my mind goes to sleep before I even finish relaxing. Is anybody else like this? What are some good things to do for a short WBTB while just sitting up or lying down in bed?
I was thinking perhaps I could try using my DS and playing something for 15-30 minutes, or just sitting up and listening to music for a bit, but I’m not sure.
If you feel like being up out of bed is a lot for WBTB, then yeah. Try and stay in your warm bed, read a book or play a game. Do something that will keep you sleepy other than splashing your hands with cold water. Otherwise, if you feel like WBTB doesn’t work, maybe you should look at DEILD or so.
Problem is, that was all accidental, because I never know that I’ve just woken up unless I was previously lucid and had the thoughts to stay still before I woke up.
I myself sometimes only have my WBTB long enough to turn off an alarm or make a trip to the bathroom. It doesn’t have to be extended. If you’ll wake up too much otherwise, then it’s fine to just have it for a few minutes, long enough to reset your intentions and such.
Yeah, I think it’s best I just turn off my alarm and go to the toilet. Tried playing Ketsui Death Label on my DS for 15 minutes to wake my mind up a bit this morning, but couldn’t get to sleep again for another 50 minutes or so.
