A problem i'm having with LD's.

I guess i’m pretty lucky that I have dreams pretty much everyday and almost always remember them, because of this i thought LD would be a good idea too. So I downloaded infinity and just by doing RC’s (havent got round to listenning to the audio yet) I had a lucid dream within 2-3 days and now its pretty much everynight with these dreams. I will listen to the audio as soon as possible as it will hopefully make my dreams clearer, incidently I did get Bradley thompsons 7-day guaranteed thing and I did get my first lucid dream on my 2nd or 3rd day.

Ok so in total I have had around 7 LD’s and always have the same problem with them which is, as soon as I think to myself “im lucid dreaming what shall I do” the dream becomes very distorted and I lose the dream all together, I usually get around this problem by not thinking that or realising it and putting it to the back of my mind, but it always creeps up and ruins my dreams. Dunno if this is important but my dreams usually if not always are within the last hour before I wake up, my alarm goes off after 7-8 hours of sleep and I go back to sleep, this is when they seem to occur, quite a broken sleep though. Ideas or asisstance please

Thanks,
Tommy.

Make a dream to do list and instead of thinking wat should i do think witch one should i do and it should help quite a bit. just get a piece of paper and start writing down things that would be fun to do.

When you begin to lose your dreams there are a few prolonging techniques you can do. One is to rub your hands together and focus on the sensation. Another is to spin around and feel the sensation of spinning. The point of these are to give you some vivid sensations from the dream to make the transition to waking harder. They are supposed to keep the minds interest in the dreamworld.
You can also keep that interest by looking around and listening. You can probably imagine how many ways you can stimulate the senses.

Also keeping a calm mind will make the dream more stable. But sometimes dreams end no matter what you do. It seems that you can’t concentrate too hard on the dream without it fading, wich could be something along the lines of your mind having a hard time accepting that you are conscious in a dreamworld. Need some getting used to perhaps.
It is not at all uncommon for people to wake up once they realise they are dreaming the first times. I think that if you just keep at it you’ll be able to stay longer. You did learn pretty fast.
