A Slightly Differant Problem

Im new to the lucid dreaming thing and i guess im doing okay at it so far, but i do have a certain problem that i havent seen anyone else ask about… whenever i become lucid i never seem to remember to do the things that i want to do in the dream. i always end up continuing the dream except instead of it being a normal dream i now have super abilities that i randomly use to have fun on the way to where ever the dream ends up.

There are a lot of things i want to try but i never remember to, does anyone know how to fix this?

you should be happy that you’re getting LDs at all  .

tell yourself what you’ll do in a dream or kind of act it out and maybe it will come out like MILD, not that it works for me… it just works for everyone else.

Hi Ignorance! Welcome to the forum!

It’s a very common problem. It’s due to a low lucidity level. There are two possiblities. You can increase your lucidity level by shouting “Increase lucidity!” or perform a RC immediatly after you become lucid. Or you can autosuggest to do the things you want by repeating a sentence before going to sleep or by imagining repeatedly your planed action.

shouting “increase lucidity” is one of the things i want to remember to do lol, i guess ill try autosuggestion

I’ve thought of an other way of doing it.If you are using RC’s you can combine an RC you are doing with a thought.F.e:If you put your fingers on your nose so that you’ll see if you can still breathe(i use that often and it helps -me at least-)you can combine it with flying and think “if my RC succeeds i will try flying” .Just a small tip.Hope it helps .
