well, it was a weekend morning, about 6AM. This is the time when i’m trying LD stuff, because in this time i wake up to school, but it was weekend, so i tried an uncommon-position technique (some people discussed about it, and when i tried it in night, i got an LD). i just put my hands on higher position than my head, and i instantly started having dream, but:
it was weak and blurry like ND, but i knew that i wasn’t sleeping, i felt my body and i heard birds screaming outside and i was able to control a “basic proportions” of that “dream”
I think i was close to lucid dreaming, but when i have dreams like this, i can’t hear and feel anything from RL, dafuq?
mey be you were in a transe state beetween wake state and dream state.
I would say that you should relax more next time and don’t think about your physical body in order to forget it.
Did you do a when you entered your dream? Or did you rub your hands together? Those usually help to make it more vivid and sometimes I think it might increase your Lucidity. Happy Dreaming!
I had a similar dream, where I was in my dream world and lucid, but I was highly aware of my physical body.
Personally, I would have tried to turn that state into a dream. Focused on creating some HI or focusing on creating a dreamscape. I find that helps me when I’m too aware of my physical body.
I have this too, during WILDs. Most of the time, this happens when I’m watching my HI without losing and regaining consciousness, which happens a lot. It’s like super-powered day dreaming, you get in so deep you don’t hear or feel anything from real life, but you feel your body. It’s a dream but not quite. like Yoy said, it’s a trance state.
In these situations, I know it’s a dream, have some control over it, but I don’t have a body which I can move. This can be a pain since you aren’t really IN the dream, but you’re just watching it.
Most of the times, I’m a spectator and I have some control over the “dream”, but not a body to do things in. I had this once and used a dream command, shouting “Make me go into first person!”, pretty much fixed the problem.
