ALD Beta [Advanced Lucid Dreaming]

Before you think about downloading it you will need Windows XP or above. And you will also need to Download SBaGen. Downloaded? Good! Go to the next step.

Step 1: Install SBaGen.
Step 2: Make a new file on your Desktop called ALD.sbg it must be an SBG file not a text file.
Step 3: Past this code into the file and save it.
-SE
Relax: pink/1 200+11/66
BeginLucid: pink/2 250-3/70
MiddleLucid: pink/2.5 250+5/65
NearEndLucid: pink/3 250-7/80
BeginDream: pink/1 300-5/90
End: -

NOW Relax
+00:05:00 Relax ->
+00:10:00 BeginLucid
+00:17:00 BeginLucid ->
+00:30:00 MiddleLucid
+00:38:00 MiddleLucid ->
+00:46:00 NearEndLucid
+00:56:00 NearEndLucid ->
+01:07:00 BeginDream
+01:13:00 BeginDream ->
+01:20:00 End
Now close the editor, and right-click the file and click Convert to WAV. Don’t click convert to wav (30 min).

It will be about 1:20:00 long. The file size will wind up being about 800 megs. Don’t use an MP3 converter to convert the file, it will make it loose the effects from the compression. This is just a little code I thought up in about an hour. I’m not 100% sure if it will work or not. It should…

It will work like this:

Bring your mind to a Relaxing state, then to the start then start switching over to a lucid state, after 17mins it will switch to a stronger lucid state then to a stronger state again. Then at 1:07:00 it will set you in the state where you start to dream and feel tired. If I learned to program with SBaGen correctly it SHOULD all go well.

If you cannot make the SBG file download this. Ready Made SBG File.

@Mods - Please don’t lock or delete this, I really wanna know how this turns out. :smile:

I’m lost as to what I do with this file. Do I listen to it while laying down taking a nap, or before I go to bed? When do I listen to this?

Before bed. While laying down. Try not to fall asleep.

interesting to say the least. I havent listened to the whole code yet; but the program on its own is fascinating. Is it basically a free version of bwgen? Also, I think it is a good idea just to run the program directly instead of outputting it to wav…800mb is quite a bit. Also, would the quality be affected if it was converted to wav then burned to disc?

same thing i’m wondering, so i can pop it in a cd player and listen to it in bed.

If it don’t compress the file you should be fine.

Interesting… But eh? Am I supposed to fall asleep within 10 minutes? Hmm… It usually at least takes me 30 to 60 minutes… :neutral:

Any luck anyone?

During the listening period, youre supposed to not fall asleep. only after listening to the file, you may fall asleep.

I think. Just based it on DarkLight18’s reply to nikromee.

If anyone has any luck let me know, right now I’m working on a way shorter version.

I tried it, but I was so tired, I fell asleep.
I will try again.

I can’t seem to stay awake! too long for practical use, I say. I do like it, though, I will await your “way shorter version.”

I got it working. How soon before going to sleep should I try using it?

I downloaded it :smile:
I’ll try it

Burning an Audio CD actually means burning a WAV file. Even if you burn an MP3, it will be converted to WAV instead. WAV ist an uncompressed audio file.

But it could be difficult to put 800 mb onto an 700mb disc… :meh:

can i cut some parts shorter, or compress the whole process to 90% of it’s lenght?

What if it was converted into a .WAV and uploaded to an iPod in its uncompressed form?

I dont think it would work. I am not sure, but I guess the Ipod converts wav in any case.

But just try! If iTunes copies the file onto the iPod without converting, i should work fine!

Just remember to turn off all equalizers. Brainwaves are dependent of frequencies and relationships of frequencies.

:smile:

Okay. Next thing is figure out how to convert the .sbg file into a .wav.
