Alright, had my first sub-conscious LD. But I don't remember

Being, “awake” in it. When you LD do you actually, “awake” in the dream? like in the middle of the night do wake up in the dream like you do in real life?

Please inform me on this, I really need to know.

You justrealize your dreaming and the controls are yours

Sometimes you have what’s called a “false awakening”, where you literally do wake up in your dream, but, otherwise, it’s basically conscious awareness that you are dreaming. Then, as it was already said, you are completely free to do with it what you want.
At least you cetrainly feel awake.

What I’m saying is, is it like being full blown awake? because I had a semi conscious LD last night and I only remember dreaming a few moments of it.

I can parallel lucidity to the realization of your wallet being in your pocket. It’s there, it’s also been for a while without you really noticing, you can feel if it’s there whenever you want, however that isn’t perceived usually, and takes active awareness to feel it again pressing against the skin. This realization is something comparable to lucidity, it can be called “waking up” because it’s a much deeper realization, and also with more important consequences, of course  but it involves in no way actually waking up, you must stay asleep to LD obviously

^ excellent comparison!!

Yes its like being full blown awake. You walk around and everything like you would in waking life.

In my first Lucid Dream, I was blown away by how real it was.

It will be you, just like you are now, but within the vastness and depth of your own mind.

I could feel the wind blowing against my skin, It’s indescribable how surreal the experience is, and it’s all in your mind.

Now if only I could have Lucid Dreams with any consistancy, once again.
