Today I had a dream that I saw my friend in Pennsylvania (I live in California) but she did not see me. As my dream went on, the scene changed to a pool outside in a park. I realized that when I saw my friend before, it was a dream, and I thought that I had already woken up.
The friend I saw before was in the pool, so I told her about my dream (in my dream) and she told me about her dream. Does that mean that I am close to having a lucid dream?
I have been trying to lucid dream on and off for about half a year now and ive had several but what you need to do now is concentrate on your being awake if trying a wild so that your body does indeed fall asleep. If you succeed your body will feel like its lifting and your eyes will spaz out without control making a dream like place, then you just need to slowly ease into it letting go of your waking consiousness. I have had the exact same thing as you happen about a week after i had my first LD. Another thing, try eating some of the reccomended foods before you go to bed and read some information about LDS to get the idea in your head. Keep trying, it will be extremely slow and you must keep a journal. As for me i havent had one in a while but i remember at least 1 dream per night.
If dreams have featured as part of one of your dreams, it shows that the idea of dreaming has reached your sub-conscious. I believe this is a good indicator that you are on the right path. It shows that there is an increased chance you will think about dreaming in a dream and ask yourself, “Am I dreaming?” And get lucid
I think Im getting closer to a LD. Today I had a dream that I was outside a store, and my phone rang. I had it on vibrate, so it was vibrating in my pocket. I took the phone out, but I kept feeling the vibration in my pocket. I had nothing else in my pockets.
I just stood there thinking about what just happened, and I was about to ask myself “What the hell? Am I dreaming?” But then I heard a voice on the phone, and it was my dad calling. I forgot about the vibration, and my dream went on. Im really getting close now! What do you think?
Your getting very close, all i can say is at least 10 times a day, do a reality check or two, any time your phone vibrates for instance, pinch yourself, if it hurts even a little, your awake, perhaps after a week at an exaggerated maximum, you might have something like this happen again, you pinch and bam, oh im dreaming.
Btw your lucky i wish i could have a dcent dream for once >_>
