Last night was the 2nd night I tried to LD. I guess you could say “tried”. Ne ways yesturday I did RC’s ALL freakin’ day, and researched LD-ing all day too just about. So it was basically on my mind alot. And before and as i’m going to sleep I repeat in my head over and over “I am going to dream, I am going to remember all of it”. Yesturday a.m. I woke up but could’nt remember my dream(s) at all. Not even a feeling it gave me. So I laid down for a nap, when i woke up I remembered ALL of it, every detail. Then this morning I woke up and remembered every detail of the dream I had. Last night before I went to bed I took sum hair vitamins that were pretty much just amino acids. Which I read help induce an LD. And ate a bannana. I read on here someone did that and drank soya and they had an LD. I didn’t have one but I was surprised that I was able to REALLY remember everything about my dream. I even woke up once for a couple mins w/out having to write it down yet…went back to sleep continued the dream where it left off (weird) and remembered everything still. So I am hoping mayb w/ being able to remember those dreams so well that i’mon the right track.
Cool! Some people have a LD the very first time they try and others take some time, but don’t worry about that. Remembering your dream well is a great start! And even better, entering back into the same dream! That’s how I have most of my LD’s.
When you wake up in the morning or middle of the night and remember a dream, just try to lay still and relaxed and think about that dream. Repeat those words you used. I use “Next time I dream I will remember to recognize I’m dreaming”. That will increase your chance to get lucid once you’re back in the dream!
I believe the first stages of learning to LD is experimenting and seeing what works for you. After you have a few LD’s you’ll start to get used to how they feel and work, so it will be easier to recognize you’re dreaming.
Thats sum very good suggestions, I am so glad to get that advice. I take notes on my research so I will add this to my notes. When I wake up I do lay there and concentrate on what I just dreamt. And its like I remember a key peice of the dream and then all of a sudden it all comes rushing to me. And I remember it all. I really wish I could have had an LD my first time trying. But i’m the kinda person who NEVER gets ne thing on the 1st try. But I only started trying to have an LD the night before last. So I still have lots of time. But thanx bunches Mattias.
About those ‘‘i will remember it’’ and ‘‘I’ll have a lucid dream’’ mantras, it is crucial to REALLY BELIEVE IT.That is maybe why you remember your dreams well now in the first place.you cannot say ‘‘i’m gonna have a lucid dream’’ and not believe it.It won’t work for sure.
And congrats about that dream continuation, not many people can do it.
