Hi all, after a long time of practicing reality checks, I’ve realised that there’s still a better way to do it. Moths back I analysed which items, objects … appeared in my dreams, and I chose those that appeared also in “waking life”. i.e. Public transports. So every time i saw a bus whether it was in waking or night life i did a RC. but that didn’t work as well as i wanted so I decided to change it slightly.
I decided that if objects; rather shapes weren’t the proper thing to focus on, i would try with colours and voice, sound (a particular word). So every time i see a particular colour or/and i hear a particular word in whatever reality i am in,I do a RC, And surprisingly, although those signals appear very few times a day (although i CR every now and then without needing any sign too), These two signs appeared in my dreams since the very first time i decided it. What i mean is that I’ve introduced into my dreams signals that weren’t there before. i’ve decided to try having LD’s with something that could catch my attention (colour and sound) and although those signs didn’t appear in my dreams before I’ve introduced them into my dreams and it’s been about 3 weeks that is going on.
We can introduce any sign we want into our dreams , They do not need to have appeared in your dreams before … Hope it may be helpful for somebody and if you’ve experienced somethign similar ,let me know please
Many people do indeed see success with introducing something into their dreams that makes them lucid. In particular, a fairly well-known technique is to force focus onto one’s palms at various points during the day and before sleep and to intend for your hands to pop up in front of you in a dream. This works in two ways. First, you force yourself to stare at something that’s always on your person in dreams and that has many intricate details, which increases awareness and serves as a fine dream sign (undetailed palms). Second, it creates a sort of Pavlovian response where your hands and dreaming become connected in your mind, so even if you’re not intending to check your hands at a given moment, should they enter your field of vision in a dream or in waking life, you’ll feel compelled to think about the dream state.
