In the morning i intend to begin my quest for a (if not many) lucid dream/dreams. I have set a spiral notebook on the table right by my bed in which i may record my dreams. I will be trying my luck with the MILD approach to lucid dreaming first and i was just wandering if anyone had any pointers that they would like to give me. I have read that making a habit of counting others, as well as your own, fingers throughout the day may encourage you to do so in your dreams and thus may act as a reality check and could result in turning your dream lucid so i think i might try this. Again, any other pointers would be much appreciated
thanks in advance!
I apologize for this post as there are many of the exact same topic. Whoops

Welcome to ld4all
First of all, I suggest you read as much as you can so you learn a lot about LD’ing. Try not to get too frustrated if you have no or little success, as frustration and any negative emotion really make it harder to LD. It usually helps a lot to believe you will LD, a peaceful happiness state of mind. And experiment! Everynoe is a bit different and by finding out exactly what works for you and how you fall asleep or dream will really help.
And good luck on your quest!
thank you very much. I have been keeping a pretty good temprament and i’ve been reading up LD’ing on the site (which has been extremely informative
). I have written my first journal entry, though unfortunately i couldn’t recall anything about a dream, much less if i even had one (which i’m sure i did), but i was sure to record how i felt as i woke up, as well as my position, temperament, etc. Thank you again for the encouragement and advice
