Just last night I had the clearest LD I have ever had. During the massive dryspell that I posted about a few days ago, I figured I could say “increase brightness” next time I have an LD. Last night, I put it into practice.
The dream was very wierd and random. I went to a “Nando’s” restaurant near a highway and ordered a grilled chicken wrap. What annoys me, is that the dream was basically 20 minutes of me trying to explain to somebody that I just want a damn sandwich! 
I went lucid after I finished the massive argument. While I was waiting, I yelled out “increase lucidity” a few times, then “Increase brightness”, then “increase loudness” so that I could hear better. I think I should have said “increase volume”, but none the less, everything in the dream became VERY clear. As I was leaving Nando’s, I decided to go back to the counter and ask the man to tell me that I’m dreaming next time he sees me. That’s a method that I learnt from the wikibook on lucid dreaming.
So everybody give it a shot next time you have an LD. Just say “Increase brightness” a few times. Good luck!
