am i posting my questions the wrong way or wrong place? i just signed up to this site like 20 min ago. another question is do you have to write every little thing about your dreams in your dream journal because i remember my dreams every morning very well and im tired of writing like a page a day. is a whole page a lot?
Appended “(regarding dream journals)” to the title for clarity.
They say it is best to write as detailed as possible. I don’t very often remember my dreams well, but when I do I write a page(or two) full if necessary.
If you’re in a hurry, you might want to write down some keywords from the dream so you’ll remember it later when you read it. I’m not sure if it actually works though, haven’t tried it myself.
And I don’t think one page is that much, though I always try to fit my dreams on one page while being as detailed as possible.
Oh, and welcome to the forum too! This smiley seems to be traditional or something, people always greet new people with that.
Welcome to the forum!!! grins Of course that smilie is used because it’s the WELCOME! Smilie! laughs
I like to put a lot of detail into my DJ online. But when recording it on paper, I usually put down the key points only so I can recall the details properly later… I’m very lazy! By recording as much as you can (whether online or on paper), you’re ulitmately improving your recall at the same time.
No, I just put in the most important parts and in a way so that others understand what Im writing. Putting in a single detail is too much and I never put in personal stuff. Thats the way I do and it works for me.
do what you feel like…
the more you will think about your dreams, the more you will recall of them.
If you are already satisfied with your DR, I don´t see why you should write dreams for improving your recall. It is a good idea to write your dreams in order to figure out what they meant as they all have messages from your SC, trying to lay out information in a way you´ll understand.
