Anyone tried it/Does this method work?!

I heard of this method. You get a recording or make on of someone saying “You are dreaming” or somthing of the like over and over again. The you listen to it while you sleep, the idea being, I assume, that you will hear it while you are dreaming and it will let you know you are dreaming.
It sound like it might work. but it almost sound too simple, if it does work, I’m suprised I’ve never heard of it before. Is it possible that it works for some but not for others (like so many other methods)? Anyones imput would be great!

Yes this method does indeed work. Many lucid dreaming induction .mp3s that you may / may not have seen have some guy talking saying “you will remember to realize you’re dreaming” or something similar. There’s many success stories over this technique, so it would only hurt you to not try it!

Definitely a good idea to try. The most important thing is that you expect it to work and you feel positive. Then you will probably have success. But we often don’t think very clearly in our dreams - you might ignore the voice saying ‘You are dreaming’ and assume you’re just imagining it. So try to do RC’s regularly as they will help you know for sure that you’re dreaming.

anyone figure out a way to have it turn on in the middle of your sleep. only thing i can think of his record it yourself and leave like 5 hours of silence in the beginning, which would be too much space for a cd.

The only thing I could think of would be recording the silence yourself. I remember just putting this on my mp3 player, so space wasn’t an issue. I didn’t have a lucid dream from it, but I remember in my dream, the “sound” was killing this ladies baby, and she was yelling at me for it.
