Next time I get an LD, I’m gonna try this. Right go in front of a computer, turn it on etc. and go into the ld4all forum, and try and post there Check in the morning…
I did try to use a computer once, but my keyboard didn’t work good. I also think that Internet didn’t work properly.
So I couldn’t post anything… But I don’t really think it would be there in the morning
Some people have seen a dream version on LD4ALL in their dreams (both lucid and non lucid).
Yes, but posting would be amazing
I’ll take your word for it .
Lol, you’d better!!!
If it did though, it’d be funny to see the spelling mistakes
I can imagine trying to post while dreaming- “Ummm…why the computer is black?Nevermind,i need to hurry…oh,the keybard cable is out but it still works?Damn…wheres shift gone?ok…hey people im typing it in my ld,i hope you can read it,wonder why Lanina said it was hard…err…Lanina, what are you doing at my place?Actually never mind, did you see my stamps collection?..”
I have posted here in a dream before, but i was not lucid.
I tried to post from an ATM machine once, but strangely enough, it was a little difficult to type on it.
Last Friday when an ATM ‘ate’ my card and the screen first turned black and then I saw Windows reloading in it, I thought I was dreaming… Unfortunately, I was not… What a double dissappointment!
lol! How unfourtunate!
This would be an interesting new way to test the crossroads theory. while it wouldnt appear in the waking world, you may be able to post and see other peoples posts on the site in the dreaming world. I fail at LD because I lost focus for a while, but you all should totally post back and let me know whats up with this. COOL THREAD!

COOL THREAD!
I agree . I’ve found that any digital type device (and light switches!) never work properly in NDs let alone LDs and have used this as a RC on numerous occasions to become lucid (I think Stephen la Berge speaks of this in his books). But having said that it would be a fascinating experiment to see if there is any crossover between possible shared dream realities or even waking life. I am a complete sceptic but one that would love to be proven wrong!!!
Has anyone ever had successful interaction with a digital device in a LD? That is, have a computer, phone, watch or something similar that actually worked as it’s supposed to? I’d be curious to know
I can read in ND’s pretty consistently, so when I have an LD, I’ll try to remember to test this out. I was going to anyway, to interface with my subconscious (the brain is a computer, after all; it must have a GUI somewhere ). I figure that asking the nearest DC where a working computer is should do the trick, since then you’ll expect it to work when you get there.

Haha - you cracked me up! I like the way you think.
I can read in NDs on paper but not digital devices - but as soon as I do a RC on writing (my most common RC in dreams) it never fails to be different the second time - ever - and I must have done it dozens of times. So I’m looking forward to hearing your results. Good idea about asking a DC to direct you to a computer because you would expect it to work when you get there - clearly expectation plays a huge role in the LD state.
I once had Commander Troi from Star Trek beam me aboard the Starship Enterprise (I’d been incubating that LD dream for over 2 months). It was awesome chatting to Captain Picard! But I wasn’t expecting the floor to be covered in electrical leads with big TV cameras all over the place - my brain had dubbed that in - I found it so funny at the time that I burst out laughing and woke myself up!
Hope you have a LD soon
I think I’ve done this before! … or maybe I just tried. I’d never find it in my DJ’s, but I have this memory of going to ld4all and posting something like “I’m dreaming!”
I don’t think I have, but electronics are sketchy.
Well, seeing as how you wouldn’t actually be on the internet, i don’t see any possible way this would work, and the Crossroads theory would only work if you were on a layer 5 lucid dream, which is rare, and it’s considered an OBE.
