Anyone willing to help with a bit of a motivation problem?

Okay, right now, I’d like to be going to bed, waking up in the middle of the after having a nice dream, REMEMBERthe dream, getting up and typing the dream out online, staying online and read some LD stuff, and finally going back to my bed to WILD.

Right now it seems only two, maybe three times that I actually get past remembering the dream. I mean, my head says, 'HEY! This is a cool dream, you should write it down!" But my body disagrees, ‘There be other dreams at different times that you can remember. But right now, these blankets are so WARM!’

Yeah, basically, I wake up at night, a dream freshly in my head (luckily, it seems I broke that (body:)‘Eh, these blankets are so warm, I don’t think I’ll disturb my sleep at all tonight’ streak)and I start to go and right it down, but I usually end up thinking It’s too cold, I’m too tired, If I just think about the dream now, I’ll remember it in the morning. So I start thinking about the dream, and like always, a minute later, I sound asleep.

Yeah, so, HOW DO I MAKE MYSELF GET OUT OF BED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT?!

This is a problem that I have, too. It’s hard to get up in the middle of the night, because the bed feels so warm, and you don’t have much logic and just fall back asleep. Usually I set my alarm across the room, so i HAVE to get up, and once i’m up, i figure i might as well stay up.

if recording your dreams means enough to you then you will get up without question

just put a pad next to ur bed and write some stuff down

train your self to spring outta bed the second u wake up…its what i do when i wanna get up before doing wild etc…

Maybe you could put your notepad right next to your bed, so you can write the dreams down without actually getting out of bed?

It’s not the I don’t want to get up, It’s that I don’t don’t even want to move.

I know what you mean. I try the WBTB with WILD/ dream (re)entry technique, but I just think “not now…later.” Ahh…

Tonight I woke up and actually leaned up, trying to remember my dreams. That’s a little better than before.

I think tonight I’ll try putting my alarm clock under my pilow.

Oh yes thats quite true

@Chilla: Try putting your alarm clock somewhere where you have to get out of bed to turn it off.

Puts alarm clock under pillow.

That’s actually enough for me. If I wake with any noise, then I’m wide awake and pist off at the noise…

…Yes, an alarm clock will do nicely.
