I was reading somewhere on this board a few moments ago about someone who was beginning to develope a lucid dream but eventually woke up when he realised that his brother had raised the volume of his television set and that when he went back to sleep, he lost his lucidity…I remember that back in 1997 when I bought my Novadreamer package there was a product list on the back of the Lucidty Institute’s newsletter Nightlight that advertised an accessory called the Dream Speaker which was a small electronic attachment for the Novadreamer with which anyone with a Novadreamer could add music to, perhaps, enhance/aid their consciousness climb towards lucidity.
Once in a while I have often pondered whether or not the vividness of certain dreams are born out of external stimuli, can anyone add anything to this suggestion?
i had an experence with this last night. I was dreaming that i was sitting in a room talking to my boyfreind. I woke up for a second, and he was talking in his sleep, saying the same thing he was in my dream. Unfortunatly, I dont remember the details of that dream, but when i woke up I realized what was going on.
I sleep with music on most of the time, and I cant even begin to count the number of times Ive drempt that I was at a Velvet Underground concert, or that the music was just the background to a dream.
