3 times now, 1 a couple of nights ago and 2 in a row the last 2 nights, Ive had these dreams that I’m not sure if I was actually lucid or not. In all of them I would be having a ND and out of no where almost for no reason besides 1 I would just became lucid or so I think. The one that may of had a reason was one where I rode a motorcycle of a cliff into a tree and became lucid. But for the others there were no reason it just happened. Also in all of them when I think I became lucid the vividness would actually get worse and I would wake up soon after. So my question is, are these actually lucid dreams or something else, like FLDs? ty
hey man, I had something like that the other night. I think they are FLDs. my dream was about being lucid, but i wasn’t actually in control or anything. I might not have even thought that i was lucid. But my dreamself was playing out the roll or something. Probably because i think about the subject so much. It faded just like yours did, btw.
yeah, i knew i was dreaming but i didnt have any control. Everything i did just happened with out me actually gthinking to do.
I think its a completely different feeling when you turn lucid…n the transition from ND to an LD is quite exciting in itself…you feel an entirely different sensation from all 5 senses when you get into an LD…
I used to get some NDs where i felt that i had controlled for a certain part…or something like that just because i get some vague hint that this could be a dream…ppl mention that if you realise that you are dreaming then you get lucid, the extent of lucidity, however, is still subjected to your own experience…as for my personal experience the ones where i dimly wondered at one point that it couldnt really be a dream, well the little control dint really amuse me much…try to get more convinced through RCs or by just strongly believing that its a dream…oftentimes, its your belief that does the trick…
Agreed. To me, it feels completely different to have a lucid dream.
Were you in control at all in these dreams? If you were, you were having a lucid dream.
Well they coulve been VERY low grade lucid dreams. If you look back on the dream and you didnt actually realize that you were dreaming, then it probably wasnt a lucid dream. The transition into lucidity usually makes the dream super clear and vivid, idn about all your senses feeling differently but for me my sight and brain get really clear when I realize I’m dreaming.
