I have a little question about autosuggestion. Well actually a couple of questions.
Do I have to let the affirmation be the last thing on my mind before I literally drift off?
Is it ok if I use autosuggestion for 10 minutes then think about other stuff while I’m falling asleep?, because If I concentrate hard on something it will keep me awake.
Do you wake up in the middle of the night and recall dreams, and try visualizing that your becoming lucid in them?
yes thats MILD, but MILD and autosuggestion go hand in hand.
Autosuggestion is a good way to keep your subconscious in check, it may be more powerful if it is the last thing on your mind, but that’s pretty hard to do…once you start drifting off, you start thinking of things.
My suggestion would be to just keep repeating the statement to yourself before you go to bed, even write it down loads of times on paper…until you expect that thing to happen, until you feel like you can go to bed and it will happen…then just go to bed and let go, your subconscious mind should remember that you expect that thing to happen and will act accordingly
I actually find it easier to just think a few times about you having lucid dreams. Then just think about LD’s in general or if that’s too much thought dreams in general. No thought needed, just belief.
If I repeat the words over and over again, I find myself thinking why am I doing this, and without noticing it, fall asleep thinking of something else.
