Awareness under anesthesia

Hi

I’ve been thinking about awareness to achieve lucidity in dreams.

I am trying to get to my point, which is awareness under anesthesia.

Anesthesia awareness occurs during general anesthesia, on the operating table, when a patient has not had enough general anesthetic or analgesic to prevent
consciousness or waking up during surgery. It occures in 0,0068% - 0,13% of population by several studies.
You can google “Anesthesia awareness” to get more info.

I personally think that it may be that there haven’t been enough anesthetic in
normal people, but for people with greater awareness in dreams, meditation etc I am not certain.

What do you think? Any experiences?

ask a question plz
im confused

I now think, that I have been wrong in my previous assumptions.

I thought that if I had the ability to have lucid dreams, then this lucidity would carry on to other states and awareness under anesthesia would be one of these.
Well it does actually, but I came to conclusion that awareness under anesthesia may be a higher ability. It may be related to “sleep awareness” in tibetan dream yoga which is more difficult then lucid dreaming.
My fear was that if I learned to dream lucidly I would have more chance of waking up, under anesthesia, on op-table.

hm, makes sense to me!
