B6 experiment

Ok i took 1 vitamin like 5 hours ago that had i think 2mg of B6 in it, and im taking one tonight right before i go to bed.My technique will be --1.)Mild 2.)Wake up from WBTB alarm 3.) DO WILD-- Ok i will post the results of tonight, tomorrow!!!

2mg of B6? Are you sure you are not taking melatonin? I’ve usually seen B6 in higher dosages than that, I don’t think it’s active when you igest that little, but maybe I’m wrong…

People usually take 100 MG of b6, not 2… might need to reconsider your options and do a bit of research as I believe that’s not enough for any actual effect.

Yeah, I believe 2mg is your recommended daily intake, most multivitamins will have this much…Go to the supplements isle in a store with a pharmacy, you can pick up a bottle of pure B6 pills(each one is usually good for 100mg), each pill is approx. 5000% of your DV (that means two is 10,000% DV, lol). Remember, as with any drug there can be side effects (I believe temporary nerve damage in the extremities can occur if you take too much B6), so don’t overdo it, okay?

I wasn’t aware that there was such a thing as “temporary” nerve damage in the first place. That kinda scares me out of this whole B6 thing just a little bit.

There shouldn’t be a problem if you don’t take an overdose. I usually take something with B6, but not supplements.

ive taken 700mg of b6 one night to experiment…it was pretty cool i must say even though its not a good idea since i couldnt feel my arms and legs…but it feels like ur kinda floating around everywhere if u start to walk.

but yea dont do that.
and you need more than 2mg as everyone said

Yea, vanessagrande might’ve been experiencing some neuropathy over there.

200 mg of B6 maybe?.. I think that is about the same amount as when my mom was feeding me the vitamin. She heard a coworker whose daughter could concentrate a lot better in school and received better grades after taking B6 supplements. I didn’t really feel that much of a difference. I’m less grounded than the normal person I guess, but I can concentrate for 6 hrs straight on something I’m interested and I naturally LD.

Eeek!!! Dont flame me!!! Hahah just kidding. But you guys are right I need to do more research on B6. Oh wow, I was going to try these b6 pills, but they smelled like rotton Beef-Jerky.They tasted like salt when I licked one,and they looked like dirt+cat poop.

Yeah I only skimmed.

The daily recommended allotment of B6 is 2mg which is easily achieved through the food you eat everyday. However you can buy tablets of B6 (Usually marked as B6) that generally have 100Mg.

But…Wouldn’t that kill you!

In fact it will not, in fact it won’t harm you. In order to get the nerve damage caused by large amounts of B6 you would have to take a lot.

From what I remember (from Wikipedia- the average amount ofB6 needed to cause nerve damage is 1000Mg (1 gram anyone) of B6 taken over a long period ranging from months too weeks.

Though there have been cases of damage from doses as low as 300Mg. (Sensitive individuals)

This problem is caused neuropathy and can include tingling burning or itching along some nerve pathways.

When this first starts the ‘damage’ is very low and will be 100% reversible by ceasing intake of B6. However if it is not stopped it could cause permanent nerve damage.

I repeat, that is a LOT of B6.

a LOT.

Like…a really lot.

I my self would take between 200-400 Mg of B6 per day right before I go to sleep.

In dreaming B6 affects seratonin and other yummy brain chemicals and usually leads to increased recall (maybe) and increased vividness
