Binaural Beats?

I heard of these yesterday and tried to download a few. I only got one (a one that apparently makes you have lucid dreams) but I couldn’t get anymore because I had to download them in .m3u format, and it took me a while to figure out how to get them to .mp3 format for my iPod (drag the .m3u file into NotePad, copy the link to the .mp3, download ‘Down Them All’, for Firefox and copy the link for the .mp3 into down then all and download XD) So I downloaded the Lucid Dream Binaural Beat (I used iDose or some site like that) but I couldn’t fall asleep for the life of me, so I just listened to regular music and turned off my iPod when I felt sleepy… BLEH.

Anyway, just wondering, do these things actually work? The only thing was… I was listening to it once and all sorts of weird thoughts came into my head O_o

It works for some  Now, the thing is- You can’t ask “Does it work?”
It works for some- Now, wheather it’s placebo or not, it worked. If it isn’t working for you, then it’s not working… for you.

If you think they give you wierd thoughts- Great, use it when you need to spice up your imagination xD As for lucid dreaming, yeah tricky. I’ve tried falling asleep to the doses many times (without success). You could import the mp3 to an editing software and add 10-15 minutes of silence before the binaural beat.

One way I do use binaural beats today is together with this program called Subliminal Blaster which flashes like messages saying I’m dreaming and w/e. So I use a certain frequency show to kinda’ boost my subliminal awareness.

If it can make my thoughts weird, I’m sure it will work and give me a lucid dream, but at that time I just couldn’t fall asleep so I couldn’t listen to it or else it’d just be me listening to pretty much white noise, and I was hyper.

The thoughts it gave me were just like… “They don’t know. They won’t tell me the truth…” I’m like… “WHO ARE THEY?!” o_O

Also, can you recommend a program that allows me to add subliminal messages into .mp3’s?

Hi Cyberwave, were u listening thru headphones? it dosent sound like it because binarual sounds should sound like sound waves… and if u listen thru regular speakers your mind cant seperate the frequency then it sounds like white noise/static…
