Something strange happened (again). My first LD was DILD. When I realized it was a dream, everything turned black and I had the slight feeling of being in my bed. I “rolled out” and landed on the floor (not physically of course). When I tried moving, it was slow and had a lag time. I tried to “spawn” the lucidity pill thing in my hand, but when I raised my hand to look at it, neither my hand or the pill was there. Everything stayed black.
After that I had an FA, which I recovered back into another LD, and then another FA, which I recovered. After the second, I woke up for real. My last LD, the fourth was sweet. Very vivid and fun… At one point I saw some DCs and they had the look of “Holy Sh!t” on their faces.
But the black LD happened to me once before, it was almost like I was in between being awake and dreaming. Anybody ever had something close to that?
Yup, it definitely happens quite a bit. If you can’t use the lucid pill or command lucidity you probably should just try spinning (my preference) or hand rubbing (never done it). It might take you to a new scene but it has never failed me in increasing the vividness and getting rid of the “dark” feeling.
My first black LD happened a while ago… it wasn’t completely dark. I could still see my hand and arm as I stood there observing my surroundings. Then, I just tried to fly out of the blackness, but I sparked a FA. D:
I had a weird dream today. It started off with me and my friend sitting on the side of a driveway. Somehow my attention and focus came to getting some money out of him… I can’t remember if he owed me or what. First I asked him to give it to me and he refused. At that point I started acting lucid (no indicator that this was a dream), but I wasn’t quite all there - I wasn’t even to sure if this was a dream, but I knew that It could be a possibility. I also felt like a spectator, though I could control my actions (weird feeling).
Anyways, I started telling my friend that he was my subconscious, and that he had to give me the money. He stopped laughing, but still refused. I kept trying, and I used more violent tactics. I kicked him on his back and told him that he is not real, and I can and will kill him if he doesn’t give me the money. I still didn’t get it, and I backed of for a second. I thought to myself, “Am I were I think I am? (a dream)”. I tried the nose RC, and oddly enough it passed; I couldn’t breathe. I tried it again, and again it passed. I then though to myself “Hmm… I guess not.” The dream faded out then.
So the first thing that that I found weird about this was what I did to my friend. I wouldn’t take these kind of measures in RL or a LD; and I never have in neither.
The second thing was that the RC passed, two times! (lol, yes I am sure this wasn’t RL)
