Yes, this is the place to tell ppl your worst and funniest bloopers in LD’s
(please do excuse me if there’s already a topic with those… I tried to look for some but only found them in Dutch. I live in Belgium so maybe that’s why lol, I just prefer English for some reason)
So I’ll start with mine:
Trying to impress ppl and fail miserably… (Not being able to go through things thinking that you are able to; do something that you think is special, but actually everyone could do it)
Go through something and get stuck.
Go through the aquarium thinking I’d transform into a fish… The second part didn’t work, so I was stuck in the aquarium with my upper body… As human.
I know it’s nothing really funny lol but it’s all I got so far. So feel free to put yours here
ya, i tried a new explosive in public…went crazy…blew up some random guys car, and he ran up to it (coming from work or something)…and started screaming and yelling like he was pissed off, then started yelling “WHO DID THIS???” and i just kind of walked away slowly…
Don’t have many LD bloopers, but in most half LD’s, I usually try to fly without stabilizing the dream first, so I of course float down to the ground and land on my face. This has happened countless times, both alone and in front of people.
Actually, I had one last night. I was walking through various small rooms just to see what was behind all the doors. All of them were empty, until I opened one… and found a guy sitting on the toilet, reading a magazine. He yelled: “Get the hell out!!” and I slammed the door shut, actually feeling rather embarrassed… It was completely unexpected!
Also, I like to go horseback riding in my lucid dreams. I always think that I can’t fall off because it’s a dream, but I’ve actually fallen off when not intending to. I’ve been very glad that no one could see it…
It was winter out and I was practicing flying. I tried to do a loop-de-loop but came short and did a head-plant into the snow, after which I got stuck.
i had become lucid and tried spinning, but i didnt go anywhere. a bunch of DC’s were looking at me as if i was crazy.
i had become lucid and screamed “i can fly!” i jumped into the air over my fence. i went up a little bit, but crashed into my neighbors bush and fell on my face . just then, my friend walked by and started laughing at me.
also, one time i realized i was dreaming. i went up to this guy and said “hey, you are in my dream!” he looked at me funny, and then laughed, and said “you are confused. this is actually my dream.” i said “no, im pretty sure this is my dream” the guy shakes his head and mutters “another wayward dream character… well, im a lucid dreamer and you are in my dream. ill prove it” he puts his hand out and makes a tree appear. the tree picks me up with its branch and says in a big powerful voice “this is not your dream” i say “oh, sorry” and the guy flies off. i think ‘i really thought this was my dream. oh well’ and continued the dream nonlucidly
I’ve had this a few times when trying to lucid dream about flying. Not quite with the face, but by taking a run-up, I can propel myself through the air for about half a mile before hurtling back towards the earth.
Seen that scene in Superman Returns where young Clark Kent’s running through the cornfields? It’s kind of like that.
