Body paralysis Without going into lucid dream

Hello, I’d like to ask a question that I’ve been wondering about for long time.
when you get paralysed, is it always the signal that you are becoming lucid or is there a time when nothing happens even if you get paralysed in bed?

If you don’t practice lucid dreaming, then you aren’t really much closer to it with this than any normal sleeper. However, the fact you know about LD and SP is an advantage.

The body basically paralyses itself before sleep so we don’t act out our dreams. If someone is able to recognise (i.e. be conscious) through the SP stage then they are one step closer to LD.

You should next try and concentrate until you reach the HH stage and then you will slowly move into REM sleep fully aware and have an LD…

Good luck.

SP or Sleep paralyses is not directily related to LD. It is something that all normal people have every night durring dreams. For some of these people it may start too soon, or end too late. Then they can feel the paralyses while they are awake. If you are doing the WILD tech. it is not uncomon for you to experance SP because you are trying to keep you mind awake, while your body goes to sleep. If you are doing that, then it can mean that you are getting closer to success with WILD.
don

It’s just your body falling asleep, an LD depends on your concious mind not falling asleep too when your subconcious takes over (A dream).
