I’m not sure if this is true, but can you actually share dreams? I remember one time I was dreaming about Zac Hanson and I used to be really crazy about Hanson Brothers , but thease days I’m not. Anyways, what happend was that I was Lucid and I wanted to see Zac and he came up to me, but I jumped over the fence and I was trying to unlock it. Anyways, something happend and that was the last time I have seen him other then the lasst dream I have had, but that wasn’t a shared dream becuase they looked younger then they are now. Anyways, a few years later, they made a new CD and one of the songs felt like he was singing about me and how I jumped over the fence, what was wrong with me? He asked. I forgot what the song was called. Anyways, I was just wondering. Not to bragg or anything. i just want to know if that was true that we can share dreams?
It’s like saying if you can actually have OBEs. As far as the modern official science is concerned no, but there are people who would swear up and down that they can.
I don’t concern myself with these things unless they personally affect me.
thanks for the advice.
As a skeptic I don’t know of any biological functions of the human body which would allow dream sharing, OBE’s, telepathy or any other things like that; especially, since the “dream sharers” don’t present any verifiable evidence. From the scientifical side I would say no. Of course though there is room for research and what was denied earlier may be totally acccepted in the future. Stephen LaBerge had to work hard to make the scientifical world accept the fact that lucid dreaming is real. It is a matter of your personality if you are open-minded and accept such things without evidence, or you are skeptical and deny theories without evidence, or somewhere in between.
I can say that i only believe what i have seen myself or is scientifically proved. So no i don’t think you can really share dreams. (would have been awesome though)
Don’t try to find the hard explanation, “felt like” everything is relative. It’s just that it reminds you that you dreamt about it and then you thought that maybe it’s like if you shared a dream… I think that’s what happened.
Well, what really makes a scientist?! A school or the things he can do or prove?
I would say what he can actually do, prove or disprove…
So I would say that’s possible because people have done it, only they weren’t scientists they were regular people but still more qualified then any scientist because they actually experience shared dreaming and they practice it…
I’m a man of science, meaning that I will believe in what can be proved, maybe not as much from the science but more from myself. Because me dreaming or OBE’ing is still more real then any scientific prove on a piece of paper…
It would be really cool if two persons tried to share a dream, and then afterwards ask each other if the details match.
From a scientific point of view, dream sharing is possible. There is a mechanism in our body that allows it and this is the brainwave. Your brain sends out signals that have the “code” of it’s activity. The only thing the scientists (in this field) have no clue about is wether our minds are able to receive those signals and interpernt them or no.
I do remind all the skeptics that radio waves are invisible and the inventor of the radio was thought to be crazy. Also, people who said that earth is sphere shaped and it’s not the center of the galaxy, were charged in paganism and persecuted.
thank you all for the advice. I think it did happen, but I need to research this more.
Unfortunately scientists do have a clue whether you can transmitt & receive these signals from other people and interpret them. It is not possible. Also do not compare the flat earth and center of the galaxy. That was a war, which happened because of religion. Wars because of religion tend to be irrational, unlike scientifical understanding and theories.
What are you talking about lol ?
I think that’s what we (no you) should do to prove it to all skeptics .
There is no point in arguing in that topic like dB_FTS anymore. Problem solved.
I personally haven’t experienced dream sharing, but I don’t dismiss it as impossible. If it happened to me I’d believe it. I do admit that the results from the shared dreaming experiments here and elsewhere leave lots to be desired, but that doesn’t mean that other accounts are not credible.
Dude, I’m not arguing, I’m just saying the facts…

Ok, I will simplify for you: “Yes, I do believe that dream sharing is possible.”
béni-oui-oui
Not only do I believe it is possible to share a dream, you can visit people’s dreams outside of your own. I understand any skepticism as this idea was quite strange to me at one time. I have met people in my dreams that I later meet in waking hours. I met a friend a few months ago and I visited her in her dreams before we met.
