can't do the one thing i want to do [summon a named DC]

added [summon a named DC] to the title

Hello everyone,
I’ve been interested in lucid dreams for a while and have had a few of them. I’m especially interested in ‘materializing’ a certain person, because I really want to talk to them. I’ve read that it’s good to have a plan of what you want to do in an LD so you’ll be able to work on it right away once you’re in the dream. I’ve also seen that it’s easier to get someone to appear through a door or around a corner or something.
I feel armed with knowledge, but it’s not doing any good. Every time I’m lucid, I think of this person that I want to see and try to get to them, but it never works and I usually wake up! It’s so frustrating. I don’t know what else I need to do!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

do you have fear and doubts about whether or not you are worthy of talking to this person
or whether they like you
or any negative ideas and feelings ?
they will keep you from success,

in this instance you need to go into the void, which is where your eyelids are, and start talking to yourself, creating a hypnosis,

its like writing a movie or typing a post,
you say to yourself "I am now meeting with ___________ "
and describe the dream, where you will end up, where they will end up, and make the story very convincing,

then I use my sense of touch to push around in the void, feeling things, and letting the images come back so that I can see myself in the dream I envision,
or sometimes the script and the statement will fling me vividly into the place I describe,

to get to the void I either push through tons and tons of walls until I am just inside a network of walls, doors, nonsense images, then create a new dream, or I just close my eyes, or spin in circles works real good,

but treat this person with respect, as if they really are sharing a dream with you , because they are,

really the best way to WILD is to go to sleep in one position, and refuse to roll over or change positions, and pay attention to your thoughts as you doze in and out,
if you refuse to move you can find your way into an LD very easily,
if you just really feel like rolling over, then I recommend instead stretching your muscles by tensing / relaxing them, or getting up to focus your mind on your dream goals for a few minutes.

Don’t try so hard.
Really EXPECT them to come around the corner. Don’t doubt your ability to succeed.

I never thought about that, but I guess it’s possible. Thanks for all your advice!

Thanks moogle. Maybe I am trying too hard.
