I personally hate the word god because it implies that “god” is in fact some entity with earthly characteristics. I prefer calling it the light, the universe, the all, the source etc…
Anyway
I came across a guy in some other spiritual community who claims that he is in fact channeling god.
I believe he is a fraud since I don’t think god can be channeled as “god” is in fact the universe, the essence and in my opinion, can not be communicated with.
Just brought this topic up to hear what all of you think about it.

For me is the name god the sign of all balances in the nature, its not a creature, its more like all powers that connects the solarsystems and so on. Thats my belief and thats it

Definetily not by people, but by powers and naturelaws, its hard to say how that stuff works, I dont think we are going to find the answer to that.

Our subconscious is connected with the inner parts of the reality, being the far greater and much more influencing dimensions of our lives.
Keep in mind, our conscious mind is only a tiny part of our whole mind. If you are in touch with your subconscious, you will positively influence your existence in much higher frequencies than the physical one. Dogs, and many other animals, and also little children are much more in touch with their SC and therefore much more in tact with the real purpose to life here. it is only the indoctrination of our societies that make children lose their abilities and connections and become “adults”. Kids are often told they are just imagining things and memories and they are in fact very real, they are usually taught a course in life in which they should act, in order to “survive” the earthly life, accordingly of course, to what their parents believe in.
So I in fact believe that dogs probably not know all the secrets of the universe but are truly much more in contact with the universe than the common earthly human being.
The word “god” is simply not my style as it refers to it as a him/her, when in fact “god” can not have male/female characteristics, god is the all, the balance, the universe, the light.
I agree with LDreamerland, god is just a word, a name created by humans because of their need to materialize everything.
Definetily true, its very hard to communicate with SC, just because the things your parents teach you to believe. I unlearn myself all this nonsense and know the unreal is the reality, I think its the fear of unknown that make us avoid the true
it is fear in general that holds us back, all of it is of course irrational because we can not be harmed in any way we do not summon upon us.
The space - time illusion can be strong, we are here to overcome it, therefore overcoming all of the fears and evolving.
I agree that god is the everything, not of course a person. He is the light, the power, the universe.

None of us here on this earth can channel god, or jesus or buda…
We would blow with such energy, with such vibration! For us to be able to channel them we would have to be very similar in energy and consciousness levels, and if that, we wouldn’t really be here now, would we? No!
We can channel angels… People do it all the time.
And as a teacher once said, we don’t need to channel anything else, because any other person knows as much as we do.
I agree that God is a word made up by people. Just as religion is a man made thing. However, I am a Christian, and to me, God is a higher being who did create the universe. He does not live in this dimension though, he is outside of time and space, and can control things in the universe, except for people since we have free will.
I think that we can talk to God. That’s what praying is. I’ve never had success praying, it’s been a one way conversation, but then again, I’m not the strongest Christian really. I’m starting to see prayer differently though, to me it’s like a form of meditation. I mean, if people can contact their spirit guides through meditation (which I’ve yet to have success with), then other spirits should be able to be contacted.

I believe free will is relative because either we can see it (are conscious of) or not, in some way we are all guided. Either we believe in god or not.
Haven’t you ever asked yourself why you followed some path? Why you went to the bookstore that day? Why you ran into that particular person?
About the praying… I can say it wasn’t easy but I’ve got passed that one. It’s not easy. You have to shut up the mind (she’s a tough one to handle - always playing tricks on us).
Listen carefully and validate everything you hear, feel or see. Don’t listen to those stupid things the mind says like “you’re imagining things”, “you didn’t see that” or “you’re crazy”.
It’s like a conversation, once you start responding to what’s been said to you, the other part continues to communicate. If you say you didn’t hear, why should the other part bother to continue? Though it’s god… he never gives up on us!! But you can have a lot of conversations instead of monologues!!
And I don’t think you need bo be that big a christian in order to do that!!

I see your point about free will, but we still have it, as we are not just robots being mindlessly controlled by God. Yes, if we open ourselves up to him he will guide us as he has a plan for everybody, but we only act out the plan if we choose to follow him. We still make mistakes and do our own thing, and God has no part in that. In a way we’re “choosing to be guided”.

I think that we have the choice (or various choices) at every moment to do the right or the wrong thing. It’s up to us to choose if we want to do it the easy or the hard way. I also believe that if we continuously choose the wrong, we will continuously get the same results…
Really true, I have abandoned the religions a long time ago. This is my point: God is a word created by humans, God is all the powers here, and everywhere else. About the free will, I think a part of our minds contain a small amount of God, even the ones from dark side have a God in him/her

No doubt we can talk to “god”, as god is the universe, and not only that we can, but if we are to ask a question or ask for anything at all we wish in the right way, it shall be granted, there are no exceptions to this. As we are currently residing other spheres than this, which are of much lower density, in which everything you desire instantly happens, if you can hold it firmly in those spheres, according to the law of correspondence, it shall become a reality also in the physical, the only difference is that because of the high density here, it will take some time to arrive. Doesnt matter though, if you create the car, the house, the life, the body, the health, the success or everything you want in the inner spheres it shall eventually manifest in your physical reality, ask and it shall be given, there are no exceptions to this. Thus “praying” can never fail, also if you are to properly introduce a question to the universe, you are surely to get an answer, when directed properly, the universe simply can not neglect your wish.
“talking” to “god” in this way, and channeling god are two very different things.
We can channel jesus and buda as they are simply human beings… Probably by now, already unified with the source, in that case we won’t. We can channel things way beyond our levels of vibration. Angels are very high beings, vibrating in levels, we can not even begin to realize. They are vibrating in the highest levels of creatures, existing in the highest spheres of life, the closest to “god”, the source, the light.
And if we can channel them, we can of course channel every being in the universe.
At all times, we have our free will, it is perhaps the most sacred thing we posses. The freedom to choose how and if to progress. We are all aspects of god.
David Bohm referred to the universe as a hologram as in a hologram, any part of it can indicate precisely about the character of the entire hologram, it works exactly the same way, everything in the universe is energy, humans, cars, money, trees, air, thoughts, anything at all, it is simply different configuration of energy.
God has its way of controlling the universe by certain laws which are universally true and can not in any way fail (as the law of correspondence), the universe always remains in complete harmony, individuality is only a mere illusion made by means of our senses, everyone and thing is a aspect of “god” and the universe will always remain harmonious by means of many rules, such as karma, cause and effect, correspondence, and many more, these are the universal rules and they, at all times, never fail thus keeping the universe always harmonious. We do have our own free will to do whatever we choose, “god” is the universe and therefore controls everything by means of applying there rules that simply can not be broken. No one is by any means controlling us. Yes, we are guided by many things, such as our higher self in the means of the inner voice, our subconscious is much more connected to the inner spheres of life and the true reality and therefore it guides us on what to do, sometimes we choose to act accordingly and sometimes we don’t, it doesn’t matter if the choice is consciously or subconsciously made.
Any failure to follow your inner guidance will cause “misery” or more appropriately stop your progression or even cause regression. misery simply does not exist as we can not “suffer” from any thing as we make our own reality every day to every extent of it. There is no such thing as dark side, we are all same, equal aspects of the universe and all should strive to evolve, those who are on the dark side, are simply very behind in the process and upon death will arrive at low astral worlds, and would have to continue to reincarnate on earth until the lessons that have to be taught by the physical plain are complete. A person can keep living on earth for many thousands of years or for very few years, entirely dependent on the levels of his spiritual progress and therefore his levels of vibration, of energy.
The fact that we in fact true and immortal aspects of god does not mean he controls us in any way by taking our free will, we at all times, choose our way and speed of progression, nevertheless the universe as a whole retains his perfectness and harmony at all times, by applying those laws previously discussed.

I agree with a lot of what you say.
I have to say that almost everything of this things that I’m sharing is a part of what I feel, and some other things have not been experienced but were taught to me by 2 spiritual teachers who I respect the most.
This is referring to that part of us not being able to channel god, or jesus or buda.
I knew that this would not be an “easy” subject.
The way it was explained to me is that we don’t have enough energy and power to channel such powerful beings. You don’t have to agree with me, I’m just trying to share what I learned
But I can start another big discussion now, by telling you that the same teacher ensured me that none of us would reincarnate again on this planet… as we have for a long time 
First of all,
The thing is that all human beings without exceptions are equal aspects of god himself.
It is the destiny of every human being without exception to evolve and to reach once again the light which it came from. Budha and Jesus are not exceptional, they of course were unique and important individuals that helped the evolution of the entire man kind, nonetheless they are human, and probably were incarnated many times before that.
Thus they are not any different from you and me, it is probable that they are in fact right now joined with the source and lost their individuality, in that case, it will be impossible to channel them. In any case, they are likely to reside the very high spheres of life and it is true that we as human beings in physical bodies will not easily succeed in channeling beings from those high realms as they are vibrating with energy far beyond ours, even way way beyond our comprehension. Therefore, usually, in the vast majority of channelings, we will commence communication with creatures from the lower spheres such as the lower-mid-higher astral planes. Nonetheless, it is possible and the proof is that angels can be channeled, angels are the highest there are, residing the closest possible to god himself, the light, the all, in the cosmic spheres of life, they are beings which evolved to the state of perfection and could reunite once again with god, the light, the superconsciousness, the all but chose to retain their individuality in order to assist the outer beings in their progress to perfection.

its possible but it is a matter of choice.
Do you mean to tell me that we will be deprived of choosing to go to earth?

Not to be nit-picky, but its ‘Buddha,’ and he isn’t worshipped as a god, not even by buddhists. He was merely a man who was supposed to reach enlightment (i.e. ‘nirvana’) and became the founder of Buddhism. Not trying to be mean or anything, I just find world religions very interesting. Although, I don’t believe Buddhism IS a religion, since they don’t necessarily worship any god, despite the fact they are legally considered as such. More like a way of life . . .
