It would be no big news to say there are dreamers out here who wish to push further.
Some of us here want to reach deeper and wish to have dreaming as the center of their occupation, without preoccupation. I write this cause I have read it in various topics and posts, because it is all over the forum index.

It isn’t about philosophizing or talking psychology. It probably isn’t either about our opinions, scientific data, life situations, age, sex… or about the way we feel about all this dreaming paraphernalia, since it would be no big news to say that there are dreamers out here who wish to put all of it aside, all these preoccupations, to dream.

Wouldn’t it be worth it to leave all these sad excuses for a troubled short-lived fantasy, to dream.

For those dreamers who no longer lie to themselves, these sad excuses we make up for ourselves are in clear plain view, and so are they for those who still wish to deny.

I simply propose a shedding of skin; rid of masks and this not to expose feelings and weakness’ , secrets, names or convictions, but precisely to shed and rid ourselves of all these…to dream.

There must be out here a few of us lucid dreamers who have, or are willing to take the step that will fill their entire life with the sweet brew of wholesome lucidity.

We have all had at least a sip, here and there, now who wants to fill their cup?

excuses , you mean, quibbling with theory, idea, talking about why we can and cannot, this and that, instead of actually being dreaming ?

the ultimate question is what is lucidity : what does it have to offer : where is it : is it real : are there real people in dreams you can live and interact with, love and play with : is it beyond imagination and fantasy ? is it better than , equal to, or a simply a compliment and reward in this world ?

I ask questions cus I met someone, and we were in the dream land, and I kept asking, can I stay here as long as I wish? They said yes, yet I woke up, yet I came back, I asked more questions, they said yes of course you can, but maybe they were not of knowledge?

and this is what all of us wish for, to stay immersed in the dream world as long as we wish, to enjoy creations

Excuses, I mean to underline any preoccupation, every thought and action that jeopardizes focus on dreaming. Choices deliberately made to no avail, without repercussion on intensifying lucidity.

Any lucid dreamer candid with herself is aware of all that which is a hindrance to her lucidity, as well as what is to reaching it at all.
Being blunt with herself she also has a glimpse of what lucidity has to offer, where it is, it’s reality…she has a glimpse of what is beyond the imaginary and fantasy regardless of whether or not it serves her as a reward. Wouldn’t you agree?

As far as having a drink together, it seems to me we have to fill our own cups ourselves; so shall we get brewing a fine beverage, as few as both of us may be so far?

what importance does lucidity hold ,

for you, and as itself.

The intention here isn’t to point out my interest for lucidity or the importance I hold for it, it isn’t about me but rather to reach out to other dreamers out here who are ready to leave behind anything getting between them and lucidity, although this inevitably shows that I don’t take dreaming lightly.

Instead of pondering over supplements, complimentary processes or simple add-ons to thoughts and emotions to reach lucidity, we could point out and rid ourselves of that which, in our behaviors and actions, harms lucidity. It seems some of us are looking for a way to remain the same and yet enjoy full blown lucidity by means of magic pills and formulas.

Wouldn’t this be the reason most experience short moments of lucidity, which is all a quick fix has to offer? Having brief respites from restlessness when awake is likely to lead to quick-gone instants of awareness when asleep.

Spending seconds or few minutes to empty ourselves and be deliberate about the intention to be aware when dreaming is just what it leads to, few seconds or minutes empty of ourselves where we can fill only a sip of delectable lucidity.

The techniques and software we use, those habits we seem to add on to our live merely serve us to be rid of ourselves for a moment and let our lucid intention to get through. When we eventually get lucid it is then usually short lived and we will thus attempt to stretch that moment, again with all sorts of techniques.

It sounds to me as merely preoccupying ourselves with being lucid in dreams when awake in order to preoccupy ourselves with fulfilling fantasies or answer demands when asleep. It is PRE-occupation and that is probably all it serves and yields, preoccupation.

What I am reformulating here is a proposal to stretch the time in which we are occupied by dreaming without it being PRE-occupation; without it being a condiment on the random salad of a disorderly life, without sprinkling the Quest for Lucidity and its Pathways to Lucidity with arrays of sweet and sour spices, since it is a delicious meal without these salts and peppers to be enjoyed frequently and like seven-service rather than drive-thru.

It is liberating awareness from ourselves, our selves.
