close but cant seem to get into the dream

you see i have been trying to use the wild technique but when i get about 10 minutes into it i lose track of my counting of my breath and i guess i just get really close but i just daze off or get back up.

any tips for a better technique??

That’s the most common problem at WILD.Lots of people just fall asleep.
I suggest you do WBTB, and when you get back to bed, combine with MILD.
Many people use that.

The other day, i tried having a WILD,and i had the same problem. I definatly think you should use the WBTB and MILD becouse they are way more effective and easier to do. ive been studying WILDs for a while now, and it sounds like you need to conciously(sorry if i didnt spell it right) enter your dream by recognizing certain symbols as the time to enter your dream, but this is very, VERY hard to do if your new to LDing . after a while of LDing and getting used to it, i think you should definatly try a WILD.

No it’s not very, VERY hard to do.If you think that, it will be.It’s just because of the attitude.WILD is not actually hard to do if you think you can do it, you just need to focus. But of course, you don’t HAVE TO do WILD to get a lucid dream. There are plenty of methods.

I experienced something similiar as well. I just doze off without knowing when and before I know it, I’m in a dream. The problem is that I didn’t even realize that I am dreaming untill I awake back in the real world.
