Is it possible to create a dream character at will? If so, how?

Yes, but I don’t think it’d be easy.
Do you play role playing games? Most start with a character creation phase. Especially games like Oblivion, where you have good control of the character’s appearance is useful to imagine in a dream. I can imagine that Sims or Second Life would be good practice too.
You could also, of course, summon the DC with “This and that DC will be behind this door!” It has worked for me with both existing people like family members, and fictional characters from for example books and games.
I would think you would just think or will the character to appear. complete with looks, personality and names. hmm ill have to try this in my next LD
Yes its possible, i have done so ^^
I created my own dreamscape, and a fictional DC which would take me there when i called for her.
She was a complete figment of my imagination – but thats what DCs are anyway, right?
So i called for her once in an LD, and wah-la. Pretty much as i had imagined her. 
But i had drawn her out in paint and on the computer first, so she was pretty well-ingrained into my memory.
