Well DILD seems like the best method for me. But I see that some of you guys keep mentioning to do RC’s during the day. Will this help to have a DILD?

When you perform a RC in real life, you have to do it consciously, not automatically: you wonder if you’re dreaming or in waking life, and sort of question your environment to verify you’re not dreaming.
As a result, you sometimes perform the same RC’s when you’re dreaming and it gives you chances to become lucid. But sometimes, it gives you conscious moments in ND’s, so that you become lucid spontaneously, without performing a RC.
