Do you wake up naturally or artificially?


Recently I read in Creative Dreaming that is easier to recall dreams after waking up naturally from the REM state in the morning, instead of using an alarm. For the last few months I have used my cell phone’s alarm to wake me up during my REM periods, but now I am considering trying to wake up naturally. Before I start to make any drastic changes I just would like to know which method is more popular on the forums.

Well I use an alarm, but I would like to wake up naturally, can’t be late though :wink:

Yeah, thats also a problem for me.

I use an alarm but im on holiday atm so naturally is the way to go for me and my recall is getting better.

well your natural body clock is set by what time you get up, so if u use an alarm to get up then go to bed early enuff, you should wake up naturally at that time

lol i leave my body to wake up and i wake up at 12:00 noon.

I wake up by alarm on school days - the rest of the day naturally.

And I personally find it easier to recall dreams when I’m woken up by alarm…

I wake up naturally around 6:00 A.M. every morning.
