In mythology, a familiar is basically a magical pet bound to a magic-user. I suppose it’s possible to have such a thing in a dream. Has anyone had any success taming a familiar? And if so, how autonomous is it?
i have had the company of a blue, flying fish a couple of times in dreams, which has made it easier for me to fly etc. 
i can’t remember how i got it. it seems to appear at its own will.
just so you know before hand i came across most of my findings while meditating.
well all people have an animal or creature that sort of is them but is at the same time almost a diferent entitie, no not quite like the chinese zodiac, its vast, with unlimited possibilities. Occassionaly i can see peoples animals moving around beside them, but most people dont have the luck to be born with the ability to communicate with theres (through dreams or otherwise. myself for example had to work realy hard to communicate with mine for the first time. but as far as telling was some ones is i have to see it. you cant take a quiz or fill out a survey for this kind of thing.
