After my 2nd night of trying to have a lucid dream a managed to get REM and I felt very heavy. I started to see white lights but then nothing more happened my breathing did start to get quicker but I did keep counting and I tried to stay calm but everything just went. How can I enter my dreams? Thanks mat.

When I first went to sleep at night, It’s much more relaxing I just dont have a clue how to enter my dream, I did however feel myself go through my bed but thats it, so I should just keep at it? Thanks
Okay. It’s harder to do it when you first go to sleep since you wanna catch a REM period and the first one of the night can take an hour to start after you fall asleep. You may see more progress if you try it in the morning hours. But if you keep trying in the evenings then you’re getting harder practice wich is good. How to enter your dream is like. For me it differs a bit. Sometimes interacting with HI makes it disappear but sometimes I can interact with it. and then i just do and at some point I just feel that i can enter it and then i do. How? Well i just go forward. You’ll know! If i don’t interact with the HI I just wait until I am inside it dreaming. But I’m no expert.
