i have a problem. its a bit hard for me to keep a dream diary as i write really sucky…(even more so when just awake.)
and my computer boots up way to slow for me to type my dreams.(i forgot them mostly by that time)
so does anyone have any advice?
best way is to write down key words first in a notepad or jotter, then later on in the day type them up
I do that sometimes.
Is it possible to take your time and write a little… neater?
unfortunatly no…
i have a really unreadable handwriting.
(think hieroglief unreadable… or pretend i dont have hands or something.)
i can get my hands on a voice recorder so i can “say” the keywords when i wake up.
If you’re writing isn’t legible even to you, you should do something about it. Not being able to decipher your own notes can be annoying if that notes are, for example, something important you have to learn.
Buy a cheap word processor. It will boot up in a fraction of the time a PC/laptop will and won’t have the bad handwriting issues.
Why not use a tape recorder to record your voice telling your dreams?
My mobile phone has a voice recorder on it. I use that feature to record my dreams and then when have the time I write it out on my PC, usually once a week or so. For me it helps me to remember the dream just by mentioning all the details out loud. If I write down those dreams on the same day that I recorded them I usually don’t even have to listen to them again, just the fact that I’ve actually spoken them out loud is enough for me to remember them.
If your mobile phone doesn’t have such a feature (or if you don’t have one) you could, as suggested, use a tape recorder.
