Oh oh oh!!! I Dreamt of my cat last night! I was lying in my garden doing a relaxation exersise (feel the gravity pulling you and let go, feel the downward force, and then after you feel that, feel yourself dissolve into mist - very interesting exercise btw, have to try that awake) Anyhow! In the middle of it my cat decides she wants to sit on my legs and I let her and try to continue the exercise.

Hooray! I dreamt of a garden last night, but I think it was too soon to qualify. I’ll tell you anyway, though, since it was a fun one!

An evil inventor managed to fling himself forward in time, arriving in the gardens of a royal palace. The Queen of the place summoned me and said it would be a terrible thing if this man realized that his invention had worked; he must be deceived into thinking it had failed. The man was lying there unconscious, sprawled by the pond, so I helped the Queen to dress up all her family and servants in historical costumes, after which we held an authentic period ball. When he got up and started looking around, exploring the party , he thought he was still in his own time! Some people turned up in modern clothes, and I had to eject them quietly, without causing a scene. My big crush arrived and said she would kiss me if I let her stay , but I sent her away all the same. He turned out to be a frightening guy, looking just like Rumplestiltskin from Once Upon a Time, so I’m glad I was lucid by then…

I think this may be because I am continually trying to incubate the Ld4All anniversary party quest, but keep getting distracted in-dream. I’m always ending up at balls and banquets.

Woot! I managed this in the second dream here. I mean, it was never specified what type of egg we had to dream of.

We examine one egg. It is about ten centimetres tall, five wide, and made of something that looks like a red film. It is so thin it might as well be transparent. I cannot tell if the egg is reddish-green or if the thing inside is. There are also a lot of colours I can only describe as browny-red and browny-green. The thing inside the egg looks like a miniature version of its father, but ugly and squished. The top of the egg is also somewhat broken, meaning the thing is going to hatch soon. I also recall this egg has a twin, but perhaps there are more than just the boy and girl.

For the next item I pick: Book. Because that was just about the only thing I didn’t dream of.

Edward Bookhands

I am in a library standing between tall wooden shelves filled with books. One shelf has many miniature books, as if they were perfectly shrunk down to toy size. Each of them has a clear plastic cover, like a library book. For some reason I feel compelled to wedge the miniature books between my fingers on both hands…

The library also contains a famous author, who speaks about various different styles of writing and how to switch between them. Then he stops speaking abruptly and stares off into space for a while before wandering off.

For the next item, I choose: Tree

Those toy books reminded me of a toy cardboard box full of 12 tiny story books I owned as a child. I loved them. Each book contained a full story with illustrations.

And moogle, I had books like that as a kid, too. I had a set of fairytale stories, so like Tom Thumb and The Emperor’s New Clothes and the like.

Oh no! I always get to this page from the “Recently Posted” section, so I didn’t know it was under Normal Dreams. I saw the tree in an LD, does that count?

Full story here. I combined it with my quest attempt. Technically, I saw lots of trees before getting to the castle, since the lake was surrounded by forest, but I didn’t have one as the subject of my dream until the end.

If my attempt was valid, I choose something from my dream:

Gardener.

I know he’s possibly not a dream object, so quick everyone, find him before the League for Non-Objectification of Horticultural Personnel complains!

Berries Grow Best with Yoghurt

At my parents’ house, outside in the garden. Mum is busy planting various things. I offer to help. There are a pile of small berry bushes that need putting into raised planters. Mum shows me how to spoon yoghurt onto the soil first as this apparently helps them grow. The yoghurt is thick and seems to have small bits of fruit in it. I am generous with spooning the yoghurt onto the ground, hoping this will grow fantastic berry bushes.

Next object: SPOON!

i have been trying to dream of spoons since the last post, and in the last few days ive had tons of spoon dreams. the first included many people mixing up various casseroles with spoons. last night i had a dream that was just a bunch of spoons of different sizes floating through the air.
