Dream Yoga

I recently started reading The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche and I’m really interested with the practices and have read great things about becoming lucid using dream yoga.

I wanted to discuss this topic with anyone else who has read this or practices dream yoga. Has it worked for you? I am just starting out, but can already feel an increase in my awareness.

I have it, and it makes a good read, but I didn’t feel it really helped me in terms of lucidity much.

yeah like last night I tried sleeping in the “tiger” position, which you need to do apparently for the practice to work, and it just didn’t feel natural, and I could tell it was going to keep me up all night, so I switched back to my normal sleeping position.

the dedication is going to be the hardest part right now, but maybe my lucidity will increase as I become more aware. I tried one of the techniques mentioned in the book last night and almost WILD-ed, which was pretty cool, but I really need more practice.

If there is no big changes in my lucidity, I’m going to move on to something else. My strongest belief still is that it’s all in the mindset. You shouldn’t have to use a certain method, just be aware and set the intention, and well-ah. BUT, I’m still going to try a few methods, such as dream yoga, just to be sure
