So…I woke up early this morning so I casually decided to WILD…I fell asleep while holding some weight on my fingers (I’m “double jointed”) so I fall asleep on my hands and my fingers are pulled back. I can feel it in the dream, but the weird thing was that I had layers of visual images, with seperate depths, sounds, and tactile sensations.
In one dream I was trying to pull my fingers back to normal…
The other was a nice dream where all was nice and had green fields with sunshine
It felt obscure to have a sense of two seperate “beings” of myself within a dream…
(Also have to brag that I chained onto another LD after this one)
I guess the point is…You think it was overlaying thoughts…or one f’d up dream?
Well, the SC can indeed elaborate multiple thoughts at once, but having a double dream is new to me. Well, congratulations for remembering both at once
I’ve been trying to do that! I heard that some lucid dreamers can feel out for the position of their sleeping physical body, and dream on… but whenever I try to, I just wake up. I sometimes bi-locate in dreams, not in the way that I can see myself, but I think it has the effect that you described as
I think they’re both normal, if unusual. The SC mind can be very… acrobatic.
hmm, the closest I’ve gotten to anything like this was when I could feel my dream hands rubbing and my physical hands on my bed. Oh, Once I had my dream eyes and my physical eyes half open so I saw three horizontal stripes at the same time: one black, above a weird dream thing above my bedroom
But I’ve been wondering if it’s possible to be in two separate “dream bodies” at the same time…
In a dream, I once made it so I had a clone, and both mes did the exact thing
Is that what you mean by dream bodies, or do you mean being in 2 dreams at once?
It can even be in the same dream, what I mean is two points of awareness. Like if you could see through your eyes and your clone’s eyes at the same time. And hear, touch, etc.
Well I would say so…(considering that was part of my point )…I have to say…It was hectic and short it wasn’t fun so far as the part of me that was hurting from my fingers…I actually experienced pain and absolute freedom from harm at the same time…
The dream(s) might has well have been opposites…
For people who think of LD as astral projetction, this would mean being concious of your etheric body and astral body at the same time. Or you astral body and your physical one. Anything along these lines.
It’s supposed to be a very vivid sensation, as it’s somethign “out of this earth” so to say (being concious at two places in the same time).
