Easy technique

I went fishing the other day at 4pm and we were catching nothing. So we decided to go home arounf 11pm and wake up at 2:00 to go fishing.

To sum it up stay awake for 34-36 hours and you will sleep for about 12-18 hours. Good time for lucid dreaming. I had about 10 LDs.

This is indeed the best way to work at performing techniques. Congratulations on ten!! lucid dreams! That’s pretty awesome.

Might I add something else you could try. If you take medicines such as Benedryl that deprive you of REM for several days and then stop taking it, you will have a tremendous REM rollover for however long you stay sleeping. Not only does this give you more time to perform techniques, but the vividness of everything is awesome.

Only problem is finding enough time to do this, heh.

Don’t experiment with medicine when your doctor doesn’t know about it.

Even if it’s an OTC drug and you’re within the recommended dosage?

I’ve been awake for long periods of time and had, in the least, really vivid dreams. The only downfall to this method is, well, staying awake through 30+ hours and not let this inflict on your personal life. :\

Ofcourse you sleep, but the medicine keeps you from entering the REM state, so al your sleep is “light sleep”. It’s really bad for your mental health to stay awake for more than two days without any sleep.

I find it to be quite opposite. If I’m awake for a long time I have very little chance of becoming lucid, because My mind will be too tired. And most often I don’t have much dream recall. But then again I am surprised once in a while. Perhaps it’s a matter of timing.

Really? Maybe you’re sleeping too little after long periods of being awake. As durza said, you get better results if you sleep from 12 to 18 hours. Or maybe even more.
