hey guys, here i just wanna share an experience of mine, although not an LD but an ND. i did WBTB and was waiting for WILD. but i was lazy and went to sleep. but here’s the interesting part, since i still had doing WILD on my mind,i kept saying i’m focused which kept me having very vivid thought and images like daydreaming (i daydream alot) and as i lost focus i still remember my last thought before entering a dream. i was thinking of a poet who had a dream and when he woke up he started writing it. he was called for some work and when he returned he realized he had forgotten the dream. the poem was never completed. so i was having this thought and the point from where my dream started was:
"i am writing a dream in my DJ and i’m called by the king. i enter a room where queen and king sit. i was asked by the king and now i’m being knighted for becoming a police officer or something like that… "
see my that thought turned into a dream (ofcourse i didn’t realize that) and i never even had a clue that i was in SP or not. so turns out its not compulsory that during WBTB (not sure if its the same case when u go to sleep at night) u lay and wait for SP. the dream just starts without having u to realize it. the thing is u just stay aware and keep track of what ur thinking or keep saying i’m dreaming with awareness. i remember so well that it took about 2-4 seconds only. it was fast. and later i got so involved in the dream and, u can say, lost it. so what do u say?
SP will always happen when you are in the REM state. The reason why you didn’t feel it is that you just simply didn’t feel it. But it will always be there, since it is a natural function of the human body, which happens each night. It has to be there in order to prevent you from acting out your dreams in WL.
