Hello! I’ve just recently got back into trying to LD. But, whenever i have an alarm to go off, I get excited about using WBTB or WILD if I decide to that night, And I end up staying up too late.
Anything all you people do to help go to sleep faster, or not get too excited?
Some use SSILD (not after WBTB) claiming it helps them fall asleep.
Personally I just read a book (preferably about LD) or just log on some websites and read.
Just try to keep your mind clear. Trust me, in time the excitement will wear off. You might try going back to bed sooner if you’re actually getting up and out of bed. If you find your thoughts racing a lot, try to focus on your breathing or counting, it should help clear your mind.
