What is food like in a lucid dream. In the more vivid ones can you actually feel the texture of the food or is it just taste. Idk I have never tried eating anything in a LD
Experiences vary of course but many people will report that food tastes fantastic in lucid dreams. I have also made this experience before.
I read somewhere (forgot the source unfortunately) that taste is really great because there are no actual taste buds so instead your brain makes it up and so you never actually get used or attuned to the taste like your real taste buds would. Every bite tastes like the very first.
As for additional senses like textures and smell, you can apply the general LD wisdom: Anything goes!
It’s up to you how the dream ends up.
