Getting close to WILD? Please give me an answer.

So Ive been trying to wild for about a week now, and yesterday when i tried it this happened. I was laying there try to focus on the music i had on. Then after laying there for a while i couldn’t really move unless i really really tried and then it would only be a Lil twitch or just my fingers moving. Then after this my eyes started going crazy on me twitching and going everywhere, this is really when i started to see things i could see all kinds of things behind my eyes some really vivid some not, so i just started to try and look at those and then i started breathing really oddly or super fast and i had to make a effort to slow it down so i wouldn’t wake my self up. Then the next thing i know my body was going cray like id have a big twitch or convulsion but i really think now that it wasn’t real it was almost like i was trying to jump out of my body and this happened few times till once it happened and i just woke up. I think i was really close. It was kinda like i could feel the bed and hear my music, but it was like it was getting pushed farther and farther in the background. Plus this was my first time trying music when i did it. It was just regular music mostly rock and rap does music seem to help anyone else wild. Does this sound like i was close to lucid or maybe a OBE? Please give me d\some answers.

thanks for the help now just so i don’t forget.

Sometimes when you begin to enter sleep paralysis your body can begin to twitch and convulse. The images (or HI) that you saw are also the stuff dreams are made of. Eventually they wold begin to dominate your vision and surround you. At that point you can step ino the dream. As far as the breathing is concerned, try not to think bout it. That is one of tose thigns you have to allow you mind to take over. Unfortunately this can result in a very uncomfortable feeling as you lose control.

Everything you described sound just like you’re attempting this right as you go to bed. If you’re not already, try to do the WILD 5-6 hours after first falling asleep. You’ll go back to sleep much faster and will skip majority of these problems.]

Best of luck, let us know if you need more help :content:

This is actually more common than you may think. I ‘twitch’ in and out of stages of sleep all the time. Namely when I enter/exit REM. Sometimes they are very light, but others have been so heavy that I have actually woken myself up! This was a little nerve wracking for me at first, but then I learned that father does just the same thing. He even said that he could remember his brothers doing the same thing. It could lead to to ask if it is hereditary or not.

huh i didn’t really realize that the twitching or convulsing was pretty common. thanks for the answers because that was what woke me up do you know anyway to stop it, and niwehr it was actually a afternoon/ early evening nap when this all happened. one more thing do you guys think that music helps you wild.
