Hello LD4all! I’ve been lurking around for a while and finally, I can realize I’m dreaming! I would like to firstly thank all of you for the massive amount of info this site has provided. But now to my problem…
Recently, I have finally been able to have frequent "I'm dreaming!" moments using the WBTB method. However, whenever I realize I am dreaming, I lose everything. My dream dissipates and I see nothing but what I can describe as "TV white noise" (also, I can't move so I'm assuming SP). I try desperately using the various methods of maintaining a dream (mainly the telling myself to stay in the dream), but I can never seem to actually get back into the dream. It's really frustrating at this point being I've practiced for a long while, but I can't seem to get past this one roadblock.... So I guess I'm asking if anyone has any ideas on how to overcome this weird sensation I get?
Sorry if this doesn’t make a WHOLE ton of sense, I’ve been up for thirteen solid hours…
the way I get past SP is i keep my eyes closed and focus on feeling sensations on different parts of my body, when I do that I all of a sudden feel like im floating, thats when I know a dream started then when i open my eyes I see the dream. Dunno if that helps but thats what i do.
It’s annoying when the dream world just disappears once you get lucid. I got two methods that might work.
Draw a door infront of you using your finger. Open the door and step into the dream world.
If you wake up easily or feel that the dream is too unstable, let go a bit. Put your lucidity on “Low priority” and pretend not to be lucid (Be careful not to lose your lucidity)- Just play along with the dream and pretend you have no idea what’s going on. If everything goes according to plan you should soon find yourself in another exciting dream
