Goodby Fall

Ive noticed that the leaves arnt changing at all, and its allmost November. I do worry about the enviroment… How are the leaves where you live? On top of that this fire in California has really got to be effecting the enviroment pretty bad. How many thousands of acres are gone now. Ive got a feeling this is it. Theres no stoping this. We are headed to a hell on earth. Humans need to take there spiritual lives more seriously, because from where Im standing it looks like thats all weve got.

What a difference a week makes.

Two weeks ago, there wasn’t a leaf on the ground by the school. Today the path was covered completely in leaves. Sounds like we are in for a frost tonight too unless it keeps raining.

I think you really need to start seeing good and positive things in the Earth, not all this pain and destruction. Being alive isn’t a chore, it’s a gift. In fact, every day that I wake up, I’m amazed that we aren’t all dead. I mean, it doesn’t take much to be killed, like a few smacks on the head with a bat and that’s all she wrote. How come there aren’t more maniacs running, doing this in the streets? Because if they do, they go to jail. It’s in their own self-interest to not do this. … I think I’m more talking to myself than anything.

Anyways, try to take more pleasure from life. Look at the leaves when they turn to orange, and try to enjoy the sight. The leaves eventually turn and fall off so the tree doesn’t waste it’s energy, or something like that. They will turn, don’t worry about the trees; look twice when crossing the street. It’s all I’m saying, hahaha.

Umm, the leaves here are all gone, but i live in Quebec . They changed colors a while ago.

I have to agree with Amused Himself to Death here. You seem to have such a paranoid, pessimistic, and downright depressing view of life, Kava, that it’s no wonder you’re seeing all these supposed signs of the apocalypse everywhere you look.

I’ve learned a valuable lesson recently. I’ve learned that we create our own realities. We really do. Whether by spiritual means or otherwise, your attitude essentially determines what experiences you’re inviting into your life. Like attracts like. If you spend all your time sending out doomsday signals, then the universe is going to respond in kind. After all, even if you don’t want something, by persistently thinking about it, you’re going to inadvertently draw it towards you. The very best way to avoid the things you don’t want, is to stop thinking about them. Stop spreading all this fear and doubt throughout the world, or we really will witness Armageddon, and it’ll be your fault.

Instead of waking up every morning and crying that the end is nigh, how about spending a moment to appreciate everything that you have? Remind yourself of your goals in life, and picture yourself achieving them. I feel about as qualified as anyone to make this claim: Trust me, I know how much better life can be when you stop thinking of what’s going wrong, and start appreciating what isn’t.

Thanks for the reminder, its just so easy to get sucked into the negative things in life. This realy isnt my goal. Maybie its even easier to get sucked into the posotive things allso. Its the damn news. I need to stop feeding my head with all the negativety the media is craming down our thowts.

Changing the subject…:peek:

The leaves here in Kansas, USA has fell where I am, but not the trees around me. I have recently planted trees so I don’t have to pick up leave anymore!!

The trees look as if they were from an autumn painting here, really nice colors. Haven’t fallen yet.

They’ve fallen here  Or at least most of them.

Ad guys, even if Earth is going down: let’s enjoy the ride !

i always love autumn especially when all the different hued leaves lie on the ground and are quite crisp. It isn’t the same once they get rained on and become wet and start to break down.

The leaves around here changed a while ago but later than usual. I think it was the unusually warm sunny weather we were getting. It seemed as though summer would never end or nature would just randomly skip Fall all together. Oh well, the colors are nice now. Though, I do prefer Spring and Summer colors a lot more.
