Guys i need your help to see how far i did

First, thanks for your attention and your inention to help me :happy: and i’m sorry for my bad english

Okay, i am a newbie if it’s about Lucid Dream, and recently (i think about two weeks) i did some efforts to have a lucid dream, but it never worked :sad: This is what i remember (and CMIIW in my method) :

  1. Before i closed my eyes, i always said to myself to kept my mind concious. (IDK if this step has an effect for having LD). Recently, i used a sleep mask to kept my eyes closed (is that mask necessary?)
  2. I never moved my body (even it itched or just to moved my finger) after i closed my eyes. Some time, i felt like my body can’t move anymore (maybe this is a good sign, IDK.)
  3. The BEST SIGN (i think) i’ve ever had was, i heard some weird noises above me, and my body felt like floating and spinning.
  4. Until today, i think i just had a dream once. I didn’t remember it and i completely forgot i was going to have LD :sad: unfortunately.

That’s all i remember about my efforts. I need some tips and correction about my method, and please tell me if my method or some of the steps i wrote above is a good thing and try it again, or it is wrong thing and i need to change my way. Thanks :happy:

According to my scale, you went approximately 72% towards a WILD. Answering it precisely is actually complex, but I guess I’ve answered what you are looking for. I think you went really far for a newbie.

You could keep trying, but it’s really important to try improving your dream recall, regardless of being lucid.

Woah, really? Thanks for your suggestion dude, i’ll do some learning about dream recall to develop my effort :happy:

When were you doing this? WILD can be very tricky to do from the beginning of the night. It is a lot easier in the morning after you have already had some sleep. :cool:

By your post it sounds like you are doing good and getting close.

Just a couple of things I think you should try to add… keeping a dream journal which will help with dream recall and also do reality checks during the day, so if you forget you are trying to do a LD hopefully you will do a reality check in your dream.
